Website and Service Information

Website information is provided for general informational and inquiry purposes. Eligibility, recovery amount, timing, court requirements, deadlines, documentation, and outcomes depend on the facts of each matter and applicable records. No recovery is guaranteed.

No Upfront Cost and Contingency Fee

There is no upfront cost to begin the review process. When stated in a signed client agreement, a contingency fee applies only if funds are successfully recovered. The signed agreement controls the specific fee and service terms for a claim.

Attorney Trust Account

When applicable, recovered funds may be deposited into a regulated attorney trust account and distributed according to the signed agreement and applicable requirements. Surplus Fund Group does not hold attorney trust funds directly.

Electronic Authorization

When you adopt an electronic signature, you agree that it has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature and authorizes the actions described in the applicable agreement.

SMS Program Description

Surplus Fund Group operates an optional SMS program that may send promotional and non-promotional messages, including surplus-fund notifications, service information, appointment reminders, case updates, property alerts, and other information related to an inquiry or requested service.

You will receive SMS messages only if you explicitly opt in by providing a phone number and selecting the relevant optional SMS consent checkbox. The promotional and non-marketing consent choices are separate, and neither checkbox is required to submit the Contact form.

SMS Cancellation

You may cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to the number sending the messages. After your STOP request is processed, you may receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To rejoin, submit a new opt-in request or reply START where supported.

Message Frequency, Rates, and Carriers

Message frequency varies according to your interactions and requested services. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan. Most major U.S. carriers support the program, but carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
